2004 A4 Top Freezes

Hope someone can help. We brought our A4 into the dealer on two occasions now and no remedy the problem---please help.

The top freezes when trying to put it in the down position. Audi says it's a software glitch and there is no remedy.

Any help or insite would be appreciated.

top of what? your car should be under warranty still. take it back to audi and tell them they're fool of shit.

yeah, it should definately be replaced, especially if it is a software glitch. I don't know what software would be needed to raise and lower a top, it seems it would just be electric motors with an up/down switch.

software for a top? Huh? Bizarre, I dunno. Is there a Control-Alt-Delete option, too?

i'd take it to the dealer and raise holy hell.

Oh yeah it definatly has software for the top there is a seperate control module for it, Im pretty sure you problem has been fixed by now so i dont think i need to go any further
