99 rodeo 4wd question
first winter with 99 rodeo, and I notice with 4wd engaged, wheels spins while in tight turns? Is this normal or cv joints needed?

Perfectly normal for the part-time 4x4 setup these trucks have. Each axle takes 50% of the power in 4x4 mode & all 4 wheels try to spin at the same speed, so you will get some binding & wheel spin on tight turns. Try not to do tight turns on pavement in 4x4 mode. It puts a tremendous load on the drivetrain components.

That's right.
On dirt, mud, gravel, snow, ice, etc, there's enough wheel slip you won't put your drive train in a bind. I've used mine in 4WD mode during heavy rains at highway speeds, but there were no sharp turns.
