My wife and I bought a 98 JGC ltd. How much does this beast weigh? I have a 2-ton floor jack, and I wanted to make sure the jack could handle the Jeep before I try to lift it up and rotate the tires. Thanks

5000 -6000 LBS. Your Jack should have no problem since you are only lifting a section at a time. Make sure you use Jack Stands.

Curb Weight (Base Vehicle): 3614 lbs. (1639 kg.)
W / Automatic

But I do agree with Cam7 on all the rest.
