Transmission Noise

I know its hard to diagnose a noise online but I will try. 96 mustang cobra convertible. When I pull off out of first and especially if im rolling out of second at low RPM i hear a tapping/grinding noise near the transmission. It only does it at low RPM's never at high and in any gear if there isnt any torque on the tranny. Also if i come to stop and the car mooves down towards idle and levels off it will give a rattle type noise. It sound like i have a bolt or something loose but i cannot pinpoint it. I guess i need that guy you can attach to your car and drive around with. If anyone knows of this or heard of something to point me in a direction I would appreciate it greatly.
Thanks Ryan

Have a pro check it out. It may be gear rollover noise. It is common with manual trans cars. Gear rollover noise is not an indication of a problem.
