Swap
I am another uneducated fool who took on a motor swap. Ran into minor troubles at the ecu. I have lifted in a 91 us 3sgte turbo into my 91 NA and got really excited when plugs started fitting into place. I have done wiring for swaps before (not on my own car) but the have worked out fine. For my MR2 I would really like to make it as factory (haha, or atleast to the untrained eye) as possible. I fought with the place that I got the engine from and can not get them to give my the turbo harness. The NA harness plugs into two out of three of the plugs on the turbo ecu. Is there an "easy" (I say that lightly) way of getting the wiring done. Custom made harness or atleast some pin out diagrams.
Thanks for all the help |

Re: Swap
yes, buy a turbo harness and rewire the whole car. you'll need to change out the instrument cluster as well.
check here: www.mr2oc.com i think there's a writeup on how to do the swap there.
