Re: 03 projector headlamps

Not sure. I got ones for my 2000 off e-bay. I dont think they have them for the 03's yet. I know they have them for the new GMC's. U should check with someone who is selling them, ask if they have anything for the new chevy's.

Hey Nigel how's the brightness with those? I like the black look but I was concerned about the halo piece making the lights dimmer.

Yea, I think the black dims them a bit. They are definetly not as bright as regular headlights... atleast the light dosent spread out as much. The halo dosent affect it much i dont think. I think its just where the lense is, If it had a chrome piece around it, it would reflect the light better. The black ones they sell on e-bay for the new yukon's have a chrome bezzel around the outside of the lense. I dont understand why these dont... So if ur buying projectors for your truck, dont expect them to be even close to some of the high end headlights that come on bmw's and audi's. As soon as i can borrow a camera I wanna post pic's of them. They are sweet lookin.

So basicly, If you live in the country, stick with the regular headlights, Maybe try to find some with a black background. If u live in the city like I do, You dont really have much to worry about. For me their more style than function. (i know its not safe, but im just a dumb kid)

Re: 03 projector headlamps

Oh.... the Halo rings dont run off of the headlight. I have them wiered to my marker / parking light. So they dont draw any power from the headlights.
