Oil Pan Removal w/o Removing Engine
Does anyone have a clue whether you can drop the oil pan on a 1992 V6 Toyota 4x4 extended cab P/U without pulling the motor? I asked this same question several days ago and haven't gotten 1 (one) reply. I've read the lame posts on this board for days and wonder why you guys even bother... What's up...? I've been a Jeep owner for over 30 years and when I post a question on a Jeep board I get lots of logical solutions from people with good, experienced answers. You guys don't seem like you could change a light bulb without a conference...
Jeeps rule... Japs suck!!!! |

Re: Oil Pan Removal w/o Removing Engine
i can change an oil pan seal without asking for help, and every time wheel my stock 79 toy with 33's against a jeep with 33's, the guys go home looking like idiots. especially considering the money the had to spend just to fit 33's. with just a tiny amount of fender trimming I can fit 35's with no rubbing, at all!
as far as your oil pan goes it is possible without pulling the motor. get under there and look and you should be able to figure it out. toyotas engineers were sober during the designing and building of their products they wouldnt screw you over that bad. ever change the intake and exaust seal on a late 90's jeep? theres an example of thoughtless engineering for you. as much as i dislike jeeps i never put down their owners or manufacturers without being provoked. so, sorry to say this but out of 6 or 7 jeeps with thousands invested into them i have whooped them all in my $800 toy with no mods but 33s. so hey jeeps suck and i'm proving it again this weekend with a friend from work. he owns one of those peices of crap too. |

Re: Oil Pan Removal w/o Removing Engine
The key with the four cylinder oil pan is unbolting the front diff. mount. Maybe that will help. Don't know about the six's.
