Unhappy Timing Chain Newbee

I think that my timing chain is STUFFED, the engine is fine until it reaches operating temperature the it surge between 800 & 10000 RPM. Once this happens the car "Kangaroo hops" when I start to drive it. It's like I've selected the wrong gear (But didn’t). Dose anyone recognise this symptom?

Re: Timing Chain Newbee

I had a similar problem when I redid my intake, i forgot to reinstall the air flow sensor wire. check the connection. your problems may be also due to a malfunctioning idle control valve, tune up prcedures can be found on the web.
