carbed 350 into 94 v6, feasable?

yeh im just wondering, i cant afford the insurance of a 4th gen v8 Firebird, especially in my area. But i can afford the insurance of a V6.
My friend has a V6 firebird (1994) its is a 5sp. However the engine has seized and he's willing to sell the car for 300$ and everything but the engine is in mint condition. There 76k on the body.

My Good friend bill who has a 68 camaro is telling me that it should be somewhat easy to drop in a carbed sbc350. Now i think we all know that 350's are cheap and plentiful in junkyard. Now im just wondering if this is at all a someone feasable idea to do something like this.

I will have no problem getting this car inspected no matter how illegal putting an older engine in, or a bigger engine is.

I can get any parts that i need pretty cheap as i work at an autoparts store as well.

its very simple.and performs better.i beat up on most any injected cars.i do it with a engine ten years older than i am.My engine block just had its 35th birthday.it has outrun more firebirds and mustangs than i could ever count.

Your only problem is going to lie in the computer aspect of the job. The tranny in that '94 is computer controlled as far as shift points and throttle relation are concerned. Also, the V6 tranny might not be as strong internally as the V8 tranny would have been, but Im not sure. Aside from that, the job should be fairly easy and feasable.

just go old school like hotrod said, and eliminate the computer junk, all you will need is to eliminate the electronic fuel pump, cause the carbed 350 will have a vacuum fuel pump on the block. make a beast out of it.
