1990 egr sensor location

Hello,
New to this forum and have a quick question for the pros. On a 1990 MGM, 5.0 liter F.I., where is/are the egr sensors located. My Moms car had the "check engine" light on and I pulled a coce "34". Per the code book this shows as the egr sensor. Tried reseting and the code is current which tells me it's a hard fail. I suspect the 2 vacuum switches which are at the rear top of the plenum are the control switches for the egr valve located next to the right exhaust manifold.

I appreciate the help

Check out the EGR system before replacing sensor on spec.

Try pulling vacuum on EGR value to determine if it is operational.

Also, check gas recovery tube. It is a thin walled tube and often prone to rust thru, or breaks off at end.
