Unhappy 92 sc2 has a weird problem

Newbie to the saturn car,Really love the car and it ran fine for about a month. But now when i drive it, it acts like it is running out of gas, loses all power, and the service engine light comes on and the speedometer quits working, i can pat the gas and it will pick back up and the service engine light will go out, but sometimes the speedometer will start working and sometimes it won't. And sometimes it just runs great but not often. Any help would be greatly appreciated..

Thanks
mike

Re: 92 sc2 has a weird problem

I had a similar problem with my 92 sc2 except my car would actually completely stop working, all electrical systems, I would have to wait about 5 minutes then the car would work again. I got the problem traced backed to the EGR soleanoid and that solved that problem for me at least.
