Post your christmas lights!

23 strings of mini lights
6 net lights
7 strings of big lights

3 6' extension cords
2 15' extension cords
3 25' extension cords
1 40' extension cord
1 80' extension cord

Our electric bill: tripled

When we had our house remodeled, we added an outlet on a circuit all its own for (normally) a freezer, but during the holidays we use it for lights. The original (normal sized) switched extension cord we had feeding all the others would get warm to the touch after about half an hour, so we uprgaded to a cord slightly bigger around than my thumb, and have to turn off the power at the circuit breaker to avoid arcing.

*edit* now 23 mini strings!

Re: Post your christmas lights!

We don't have anything at my house. Tomarrow night I'll get some pics of 2 of my neighbors, one has about $2,000 into her display and the other close to $250,000 into his display. Hopefully the camera will work alright at night.

Re: Post your christmas lights!

we get too lazy and end up just putting some candles (lightbulbs) in the window. I'll get pictures of some of my neighbors that spend a lot of money into their decorations

Re: Post your christmas lights!

We just set the house on fire. Why do you think we move so often?
