Amp and Sub less than $300

I am looking to buy a sub and amp for my '00 Subaru Forrester. I already have a nice pioneer HU so I am looking for some cheap, yet good SQL subs. After doing lots of searches, I have narrowed it down to two choices:

ED 16Kv.2 and eD NINe.2 amp $250
http://www.edesignaudio.com/16kv2_special.htm

Adire Tempest and Profile AP600 amp ~$240
http://www.profileusa.com/products_amps_ap.cfm

With $50 left over what else will I need like wiring and everything else I may need to complete the setup (besides I box which I will build myself with seperat funds)?

-Thanks

Re: Amp and Sub less than $300

rca wire, power wire, fuse holder, fuse, speaker wire, remote wire, spade connectors .. this is most of the stuff included in wiring kits (about $30-40) but its a lot cheaper when you buy the stuff seperately..

also dont forget about like terminal cups, carpet, spray adhesive, wood glue/liquid nails, screws, polyfill (if youre using it), silicone caulk, etc. besides the 25 or so for the MDF when youre adding up the costs for the box.. it ends up being more expensive than people assume it first. just makin sure you had enough in your seperate fund for all this

Thanks for the help so far. Is there really not going to be much difference soundwise between theses setups? Will one be easier to install or build and tune a box for?

Re: Amp and Sub less than $300

I am leaning towards the tempest right now unless anyone has any other thoughts.

Re: Amp and Sub less than $300

1)the tempest is going to need a much bigger box (like almost twice as big), and
2) i dont know where youre planning on getting the profile amp from but if youre trying to get it for that price youre probably going to get it from ebay or an internet store which will not offer a warranty for the amp. (i think its like 3 years for the eD stuff? not sure).
3)also, i trust eDs amps more than profiles, and i probably like the subs about equally.. i dont know i might lean towards the tempest.. but still overall i seem to like the eD package
4) i like the way the eD sub and amp look over the profile and tempest

its pretty much these few reasons why im gonna buy the eD package for myself after christmas but i guess theyre close enough to where its really your personal preferance.
