New Engine...rollback Odometer
Hey fellas, since I have a new motor in my vehicle I want to see how people go about actual mileage on a truck. What I mean is..can you roll back your odometer and note it with the DMV for legal purposes or what? Do you know what someone would do in a situation like this? I have a digital dash in my 1991 Chevy S-10 Blazer 4-door 4.3L Z code engine. Thanks for your help...I think BlazerLT would know this one.

Re: New Engine...rollback Odometer
We wondered about that to when I put a new motor in our 1989 Chev PU 150. But our local clerk told us not to do it as it was illegal. Keep your receipts for the motor and such for labor and costs to install it, when and if you decide to sell it ever that is the only proof you are allowed to have legally.
Good Luck, Saunny |
