Re: Fuel Injection

tbi definately you already have the bulk of it just upgrade it and itll be cheaper. hell if you havethe stock unit, take a dremel to it a bit, make sure theres 350 injectors in it and that should be good but anyway both of those look like the holleys, didnt click links cuz lazy, but id go with the 4bbl if ur headin more towards performance but id go with the 2bbl if ur drivin it every day. just make sure you update the chip if ur still usin stock computer

Re: Fuel Injection

also i forgot to mention, mfi is usually only good for low end torque. tbi is like a carb and you get more high end torque with more efficiency. another thing to keep in mind

Re: Fuel Injection

well if its your daily driver, then i say go with option 2 or 3. but if you go 2, then just hit up the junkyard and get the throttle body off of a 350 TBI GM truck. bolts right on, all the connectors are direct connect, and increases flow by something like 50%. If you are going to bother doing substancial work, then i say install the EFI kit. the MPI kit is going to require the most work, the EFI kit at least allows you to reuse some stuff from the original setup.

Re: Fuel Injection

Ok so the TBI upgrade will definately give me better performance (torque & hp) The MPI is going to give me more low end torgue, but is it going to increase horsepower substantialy? or just improve effeciency

No. TBI can't perform like MPFI. As mentioned above go for the LT1 conversion. I work with the guy that does those and have seen his car, they are a real performer and will make more HP than TBI can ever hope to.
Not to mention that is probably the cheapest MPFI conversion going.
