Info on new 4T65E'S

The newer updated version of the 4T60-4T60E=4T65E... If you happen to have bought a newer GM vehicle with the 4T65E transmission in it, you should be aware that many of these left the factory with some serious issues. If you happen to be driving and notice that the shifts are taking longer than they should, you need to immediately take it to your dealer and have them look at it. Why? For the simple reason that the tranny is screwed and needs to be replaced, hopefully in due time there will be just a simple bulletin or update that your tech can perform to get you back on the road as quickly as possible. But from the looks of the valve body and clutch packs having brass shavings in them...i doubt it..

Thank you,

JJ
