UnderDash Fan Speed.
Have a 1990 Lumina Euro 3.1. The fan seems to be rattling when turned on. This makes for a noisy ride and also not much air circulation happening. Is there an inexpensive solution to checking out the fan under the dash to see if it can either be replaced or fixed to allow more air to flow and stop the rattling?

Re: UnderDash Fan Speed.
Rattling usually indicates a bad blower motor, replacement is the only solution as they are not rebuildable. You may try dropping the motor to see if there is debris in the heater box, consult a repair manual for the proper proceedure, as it's a little involved to post here.
