1997 Blazer LT New Error P0300 And P1406

After my last visit here,I checked the EGR, cleaned it, then replaced it, decided to do a spark plug change and replaced the fuel filter also, well the filter was horrible, couldn't hardly blow through it, but now, instead of not being able to get up to highway speeds, now that i have a good filter in there, and probably a much better fuel flow,I can't hardly get up to 25- 30 mph before it tries to bogg down, and back off in acceleration. also i see error p0306 cylinder 6 misfire,i'll check my boot connection, and sparkplug i put in.Any chance the computer is bad, or the fuel injectors? I keep replacing parts, and this isn't getting any better.....HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!....

Do you mean you want me to get a reading while it's running? That means I'll have to go to a mechanic I don't know how to do that, but I would think since a dealer just put in the fuel pump and sending unit just before this that it should be good, unless the clogged filter caused the new one to go out.

no the chip can not read fuel pressure.
go and buy a fuel pressure gauge test kit. Sears has them for under 30 bucks. Yes it has to be running to get the reading.
NEVER ASSUME anything is good or bad with out doing some testing first

from the dec. 6th issue of errors. I have not found a fuel pressure gauge. But, the darn thing sometimes the s.e.s. light is on,sometimes it's off,ALL in the same day, or 10 mile trip. I only drive this vehicle about 3 or 4 times a week, about 5 miles. usually in 35mph controlled area.Earlier today it was on when i went 1 mi. to the bank, come out of the bank it was off, went 1 mi. to the post office, It came on again, came out it was off, on my way home, another 1/2 mi. But it seems to run better as the s.e.s. light comes on while driving, like it's trying to correct the problem.Does that sound right? Well I have an appt. tomorrow . To have a fuel pressure gauge put on it, and see what errors, it's reading Now.....I'll let you know, unless you can think of anything else...Thanks alot...Dennis...

What did it include.

All we replaced were the plugs.and I recently replaced the EGR, and fuel filter, In the last 6mo., or about 2000 mi., it's had a new ignition switch, coil wire, intake gasket, r. rear boot, fuel pump and sending unit, water pump, plugs, oil change, trans. fluid change, clear now, not red, bank 1 sensor 3 replaced. Since I replaced the plugs about 3 weeks ago, man, large gapping,I think it was 55, or 60. I did get , one time a misfire on plug 6 error. But since we replaced the fuel filter Is when things changed, it USED to run fine at low speedto about 45, now it's getting alot more gas, because we barely could blow through the old filter, NOW IT DOESN'T WANT TO RUN AT SLOW SPEED WITH THE NEW FILTER.ABOUT 15 MPH ,AND IT STARTS BUCKING, THEN I PUNCH IT TO GET UP TO SPEED AND then back off, to keep it there thenif it starts again, i punch it again to get a little more speed, it acts like it doesn't want to change gears too at the same time.is there a regulator before the injectors? The guy who put on the inrtake gasket SAID , when i had this happen right after, it had a leaky gasket or something right off the intake or maybe pvc, i can't remember. It ran fine for 2 days then it started again.Thanks...Dennis

Ok, just to be sure, it is a 1997, have you replaced the ignition switch? It is the black box in the steering column.

Also, what about the cap and rotor?
