I have a 1968 302 block that has been rebuilt and it ready to go in. It's a mildly built engine. It has the performer RPM cam and intake, balanced & blueprinted and all that jazz. But I was at a local swap meet this weekend and ran across a 1969 Mercury Marquis with a 429 that I can get for cheap. The engine needs to be rebuilt, but I can get the car for like $300.00.
How much work do you think would go into installing the 429 in my car. Are parts a lot more expensive for the 429? I just want some input on what you guys think I should do.
Thanks...
