mighty max 3000gt motorswap is it possible

this is just a lingering question i have about a mighty max i am considering buying, i was wondering if a 3000gt twin turbo engine would fit in a mighty max front end. if so how much do you think i should pay for the engine.

Yes, its possible, but be prepaired to pay alot and to spend alot of time doing the conversion. its not some direct fit, and it will cost alot more than you may think.
And you do realize you will have to do a drivetrain conversion right? Putting a 4WD drivetrain in a 2Wd truck isnt easy.

Putting a Starion into a rwd is easier since the Starion engine bolts right in.

I asked the guy who built my truck and he said that the 3000GT engine bolts right up to an AWD truck. He considered making himself one once.

Re: Re: mighty max 3000gt motorswap is it possible

i beileve it... the 4wd mighty max is the same block as 3000gt.. 3.0 v6.... now as far as the frame rails being the same on 2wd as 4wd i dont know.. but some where down the line they would have to be because the trucks are the same size.. i.e. body panels swap out....you might have to worrie about the core support though...
