SCCA: Solo 1 and Solo 2

It's cool that we have this new forum here, but why is Solo II still outside the SCCA forum?

Any other Solo 1 competitors in here?
I started hill climbing last year with great results.
I would be interested to hear about any hill climbing opportunities.

Re: SCCA: Solo 1 and Solo 2

solo2 is the SCCA given name for autocross, this will probably be more solo1/timetrial stuff. the SCCA isnt' the only group that puts on solo events, and this will end up being only SCCA related events, whereas the other one can be used for general autocross questions and experiences.

there haven't been any hillclimbs in Arizona since when my dad was really into racing... about 20 years ago. there is a rumor that one of them is coming back.

I hope to do at least one Solo I event this year. The Pagoda or Duryea Hill climbs in Reading, PA.

Thanks for the help. I have about 5 friends who hillclimb/solo I and my sponsor is an active member of the hill climb association.

Only briefly. You attended one of the NEPA autocrosses last year I think. I was in a 00 blue Civic Si in STS w/lots of stickers. Ring a bell?

I usually run with Susquehanna, Philly, NEPA, South NJ, North NJ, DC Region, Lancaster Corvette Club, Cumberland Corvettes, Bel Air Corvettes, Autocrossers Inc, and I did one event with the M Club last year.

YES! ... I remember your car well.
It's that gorgeous blue.

NEPA is my preferred group to run with ~ especially at the Schuylkill Mall. What class are you running in the hills?

What's your first name? ... my name's Jeff, please introduce yourself when we run across each other this season.

Yep that is the reason I purchased this car. The Electron Blue Pearl. I fell in love with it the 1st time I saw it.

Don't know yet which class. Probably CSP in my 1991 Civic Si or SM with my blue Civic.

My name is Mike. I love running with the NEPA region very friendly people and very laid back events. I usually don't go past Frackville for their autocrosses. Since I'm in Lancaster and it took me 3 hours to get to WilkesBarre, 2 hours to the Mustang event.
