Strange 4WD Problem
In the past, my 91 Jimmy has had a problem with a noise when going into 4WD sometimes, but I'll just shift out and back in, and it's gone. Now, today, I shifted into 4WD and a few seconds later, it sounded like a clunk coming from the transfer case and then my front wheels started jumping and stuttering and my steering got erratic and there was a whining sound coming from it.
I can normally find problems on my own, but this one is stumping me, has anyone had this happen before??? |

Re: Strange 4WD Problem
Could be your CV joints going bad... Check for ripped boots.
