Mazda RX-7 R-1 - finished!

It's finished. OOB, with 2 tone interior and light weathering on underchasis.

Looks great. Love the metallic blue, and the interior is hot!

Something jumps out at me, though: Under the rear end, why is one guard plate black, and the other silver?

Jay, that surprised me too in instructions and I tried to follow it.
I didn't find photos of that parts. If that is mistake, it always can be corrected.

No, you're right. Will pointed that out to me in the Tamiya instructions. We both looked and couldn't find any pics of the real thing either...
I think you may want to revisit the diagram in the instructions. They seem to be colored to indicate that while the plate on that side should be silver, the suspension parts underneath it should still be black...
