Re: What to do first??

It all depends on your taste...some people like sound systems and others like performance, and some like looks, me personally, id rather have a fast car then one that sounds and looks good....i would get a CAI, DC 4-2-1 Headers and a quality catback system, but thats just me..........Good luck with whatever you do

What has been said is good advice. Before you do anything, step back and create a plan. What do you like, what is important to you? Is is only speed or are stereo, suspension, or interior and comestic upgrades important? Once you figure out what type of direction you would like to go, create a plan as to what you would like to do. From there, really decide which is the most important to you. If you value a stereo upgrade much more than wheels, for example, you are better spending your money on that which you love than that which other people may tell you. As was said, the most important part is to budget your project. Remember, it takes a lot of money to build a car. It may take awhile to complete, but chances are unless you are very wealthy you will have to budget your plan and do it in steps.

Re: What to do first??

Buy some books, there are lots of Honda tuning, mod, swap, etc. books out there that could save you a ton of money doing things right the first time. After that buy a factory repair manual from www.helminc.com Then create that plan.

Suspension would be the first on my list, the best bang for the buck IMO. It's a lot easier to make a sloppy car handle well than it is to make a slow car fast.
