Re: Where to buy new ecu?

I don't know much about the Motec ... but I suspect the Nemesis is much cheaper

Re: Where to buy new ecu?

probably not, the cheapest i'll end up spending on a new ecu is 1200... it's just that for the features i need it'll cost that much. and that goes for any ecu, to get it to do what you want will make it more expensive, you probbly won't be happy with one that you find for that inexpensive.

Re: Where to buy new ecu?

if you swap a japanese ECU you'll have to deal with its ramifications... the foremost being: 100 octane gas.

Re: Where to buy new ecu?

THE FACTORY ECU ADAPTS TO DIFFERENT FUEL.
my mr2 is ALL JDM, we dont get 100 here, i run it on 96 and it's fine, the guy before me ran it on 91! have to admit though... it does like 98.

ummm whats the Apexi power FC go for there? I've seen them for under a grand .... so they should be cheap in the states... and they are plug in.
