'91 Voyager died when driven about 10 miles

I have a 1991 Plymouth Voyager, 3.0 liter engine with 57,000 miles on it. While driving, the engine died; the weather was mild, gauges all looked okay. I put the transmission in neutral, tried the iginition and was able to hear the starter, but the engine did not start. After coming to a stop, it started right up and I was able to return home without any problem. Can't figure out if it's a fuel or electrical problem...any help would be appreciated.
Also, are the oil additives (like Pro Long) on tv that promise great gas mileage, longer engine life and more power, really any good?

When last was the fuel filter changed ? The one bolted to the chassis under the van on the sliding door side. ( sort of midway between the engine and the tank) ...regards ...

As far as the additives I would use "Slick 50". If you are looking for better gas mileage and extended use you may want to switch from using regular oil to synthetic. This will give you what you are looking for without having to use additives.

Also, if you have replaced the fuel filter and still the problem exists try turning the key into the "on" position and listen carefully for a buzzing noise in the rear. This is your fuel pump located in the gas tank. I had trouble in a 1994 G Caravan where the pump would not always turn on. It was not an electrical problem just a faulty pump. By the way a buzzing sound is a good thing! I hope the filter was actually your problem but if not when it does it again listen for the fuel pump to turn on. Lots of luck!

I replaced the fuel filter and the problem seems to have been resolved.
I haven't driven the car much because I'm still a little unsure of its reliability.
