Body Damage!!
I bought my jimmy from a "you park, we sell" type dealership with a little bit of body damage. Don't know what happened to it but the front left panel has a dent.
![]() (Yes, my car is very dirty. YOU try keeping a white car clean in Alaska in the winter!!) ![]() One of my friends said that the front side panels are double walled so there's no way I can fix it. Is that true and would it be hard to fix, or should I just go to a pick-a-part place and get a "new" one?

Re: Body Damage!!
If you want to get a junkyard one thats up to you- Good Luck finding a color match. I've heard these panels are impossible to reshape perfectly, but I doubt it's hard to replace. If you don't care about looks maybe you should just leave it. You might want to wait until the winters over anyways so you don't have to worry about hurtin your new panel.
LOL is that one of those plug ins to heat up your car in the first pic? |

Yessiree, that is a block heater plug!!! I left it unplugged last night and when I went to start it today I think I heard it crying. Yikes! I don't really care about looks but since the back of my headlamp housing is exposed (as you can see in both pictures) I don't want snow, dirt, and water getting in there and messing anything up. Should that even be a concern? As for waiting until spring/summer to get a new panel or try and fix this one, that's most likely what I will do. This is my first winter driving in Alaska and I've already had one scary encounter of my Jimmy VS icy roads.
