Front plate bracket

Does anyone know if there is a front license plate bracket made for a 2005 Silverado Z71. The front airdam peice sticks out and makes the plate sit on a angle, Looks Bad!

Tthanks for the quick reply, but I think that one is just a bit more then i'm looking for. Just something simple to hold the plate so it doesnt have to bend around the plastic and scrape up the chrome. Chevy really overlooked this if there is no part for this, seems lacking in the planning dept.

Re: Front plate bracket

I got one at advance auto parts... it's a universal design with 3 mounting positions, and I mounted it sort of above the airdam, nearly flush with the top of the bumper. Maybe you can tell in my sig. It actually has a higher mounting position available, but mine is mounted in the middle position.

Yeah, they make one, there should be like a cheap $10-$15 one and a $30 one, I prefer the cheap one myself, it doesn't have as much plastic around the edge of the plate. I got it at our chevy dealer. I felt the same way, I went to put my front plate on yesterday and was like what the hell is this. sheesh. It should've come with one I think. Oh well.

Edit BTW heres a pic of my new truck. woohoo.

Yeah, if they're gonna drill holes in the front bumper, they really should have gone ahead and put the mounting kit on it. Kinda irritated me too, and all I needed was a vanity plate.

Re: Front plate bracket

Thanks, after I went and painted the bumper, painted the valances, and cut out a black craft foam to keep the plate from scratching the new paint and NOW you tell me that there is a bracket that looks correct???

Thanks Thanks.....
