93 taurus eec fuse

my 93 taurus died at stop sign , then wont start . I found the eec fuse blown, the fuse is a very large fuse found on firewall under hood on drivers side.I replaced it with a new one and as soon as i tried to start the car it blew the fuse too and didnt start. Does anyone have any ideas on this problem?
