97Lmtd4Runner stock Fog lamps, replace with heated seats?

I have really enjoyed reading through this forum and appreciate anyone who has input on the following:

1. The stock fog lamps seem to go out quick. I am thinking of having them replaced again but I don't seem to get more than 1 winter out of them. Any ideas?

2. I'd love to get heated seats in my runner. I already have auto start so that I can warm up the engine before getting in. Does anyone know if it is easy/possible to upgrade to newer 4Runner seats with the heated option and how that might work, if so?

Adding anything is an option depending on how much effort and resources you want to put into it...if you already have remote start and can warm up vehicle before you step into it..I fail to see the *need* for heated seats(to each their own)

P.S.
If a heated seat is required there is option 2....you could always velcro a heating pad under a seat cover to your seat and plug it into an dc to ac inverter.
