which clutch should i use?
i have purchased a tranny for my 96 hatch 4cyl. the tranny i purchased was from a three cyl which i have been told will work fine. but my question now is do i buy a clutch for a 4cyl or a 3cyl?
they are different diameters. obviously the bigger of the two would be better( right?) but will both work? i assume the cases on both trannys are the same only the gear ratios are different from what ive been told. anyone know for sure if i can use either one? thanks for the help |

Buy the clutch according to your flywheel. If you're still using a 4 cylinder flywheel, get a 4cylinder clutch. Also, remove the flywheel and have it re-surfaced before installing the new clutch. Or it won't last very long.
