hub bearing replacement

I'm trying to find out if replacing the outer bearings on my 92 4x4 will keep it from jumping out of 4wheel drive? Took the hubs off and looked and the driver side looks rough. Debating on replacing the bearings or changing over to manual hubs. Replacing the bearings will cost around 50.00 vs 200.00 going to manual. Just trying to figure out if in the long run which is better.

for bearings replacement I'd think I'd go with a professional service.
