Murano Fuel Door Release???

I know this is going to sound very interesting.. but how do you open the fuel door on the '04 Murano. Its my moms and I've been using it while shes out of town. Thx.

The engine must be turned off and it must be in park. Then press on the gas lid and it will pop open. It has a spring hinge.

so wrong the fuel door has an accuator that unlocks with all the other doors hit unlock on the door or with remote and push in a the door will open if doors are locked the fuel door is also locked

If the doors are unlocked that is correct . you should be able just push the gas door for it to open. If it still does not , i have seen the gas door actuator fail or fuel door relay .. one of the two.. gl
