replacing brake light 97 taurus

I desperately need help replacing the passenger side brake light on my 97 taurus...i can't afford the dealer, is there another way? Thanks a million!!

Hi, the brake light is mounted one of two ways; open the trunk and look at the brake light housing. if you can see the place where the wires go into the brake light housing, just turn the bulb holder clockwise and pull out. The other way they can be mounted is by being secured by bolts inside the trunk. remove the bolts and the assembly will come out from outside the trunk. Locate the burned bulb and turn bulb holder clockwise.
