Just wondering how everyone here feels about Logos being swapped onto cars they weren't made on.

Personally I have no problem with a Silvia or K's logo going on a USDM 240SX, I really don't even have a problem with a GT-R logo going on a 300ZX, Sentra or 240SX (as long as there's power to back it up).

The only thing that get's me kinda ticked is when I'm driving down the highway and see a GT-R logo on an Integra, or a VTEC logo on a Cavalier. I've even managed to see a Silvia logo on a Civic.

It seems the general population is "ehh" at any logo-swapping, except ricers. How do you all feel?

i dont really care about logos, id rather put that couple dollers towards something usefull, or a crap load of food from taco-bell!!!

I personally think, if the car came with that logo, either in the states, or in another country... Then fine.

But I disagree with you on one aspect... A GTR emblem should be on nothing but that.

A GTR emblem shouldnt find its way onto a Zed, or a 240, or a Maxima, etc. A GTR emblem should only be on a car, with the VIN number starting with BNR. Not JN1

And yes... To answer your question, it annoys me to death, specially when I saw a 'Twin Turbo' decal off a Zed32 on an Eclipse RS parked at the beach...

I spent about 20 minutes trying to figure out if he was serious or not... The cops asked me why I was staring at the back of that car...And told me I needed to get out of the road so traffic could pass... I informed them of my reasoning... Then they joined me as puzzled as I was...

i'd think logos shouldn't be placed where they DON'T belong. That pretty much shows how much of a poser you are... (if u have one)

I can't imagine actually spending money on something like that. People should make money off their emblems by selling them to ricers.

logos are for ricers. I just saw a gtr emblem on a riced out accord coming to work today...along with a huge HONDA arcoss his winsheild...and on both sides of his car. Do people think they have to put up banners on there car to let the world know what it is. I took all the emblems off of my car when I painted it and never put them back on only problem is I feel like hitting people everytime they ask "what years your honda...I guess some people are born retarded

There's a prelude driving around with an SE-R logo from a new Sentra, pretty sad. The only time I saw a logo that wasn't meant to be there, but was cool was a Twin Turbo logo on the back of an Kouki S14 that had an RB26DETT. It was grey on a red car, look pretty cool, without attracting to much attention.

No, I don't have any emblems like that, as other people said that money wouldl better be spent on tacos or music,

But don't those stickers on the side of Honda's and the Big H in that rear windo add 30HP each? And I hear the GT-R emblem adds 100HP.

THe worst ever i saw was a fucking mustang with a GT-R badge.......i seriously almost ripped the motherfucker off. I was amazed at how mad it made me, but i shrugged it off and was like everyone knows how gay he looks so why help this bitch out by ripping it off. Personally i say ripp all badeges off, shave them. Makes it look sexier to me.

Why would you want to represent something you don't have? I think as long as you have parts from a company or have an automobile from a company, you can put the sticker or emblem on your car. I have a Greddy and an Apexi sticker on my car. Greddy for the BOV and Apexi for my exhaust. The only other sticker I want is Turbo by Garrett. "Rep it if you have it!"

i saw a mustang on "michief 3000" the movie by tekedemics and the guy who had the mustang siad it was new model that came out in 2001, and it had a GT-R emblom off a R34. He said the car was rotary engine, turbo, headers, full exhaust system (no shit, most cars have an exhaust system) and a whole bunch of other crap. I dont even think this guy knew anything about a car at all. The people should have asked him to pop the hood and show us that rotary lol.
