Denali Add-ons

Has anyone purchased any aftermarket add-ons such as Bug deflectors, brushguards, window vent shades for their Denali's? I work at a place where I can order this stuff called Auto Vent Shade. Also, my Denali has the tow package that came with the trailer hitch. This is my first (SUV)truck so I am a bit naive when it comes to hitches. I would like to know what size of attachments (ball size, hitch adapter, etc) I would need to connect to my hitch? It is the square kind and has a hole where a pin slides through. I don't have anything I need to pull right now, but what is the most common diameter that trailers use? There are so many diameters of balls to choose from. Thanks!

what up. what you are going to need as far as the hitch adaptor is a classIII adaptor (or draw bar). as far as the ball size is a going to depend on what you are going to tow. the make a kit that you can inerchange the ball size when ever you need to. very esy. you should get a lock also that locks the adaptor to the hitch. those pins make it is to steal what ever you are towing. good luck and happy towing.

Re: Denali Add-ons

Hi,
it depends on what you want to tow.
The Yukon usually takes a class V drawbar.
You usually get the drawbar and hitch ball when you get the trailer.
This way, the height and size of the trailer ball is matched to the trailer.
This is important.

Happy trailering, Eggert Johnson

Re: Denali Add-ons

I put on the window vent shades from Auto Vent Shade. I don't like the way they fit on the front doors. In fact the one on the passenger side came loose on the trip we just took and I had to remove it.

I had a bug deflector on my Expedition but I am not going to put one on the Denali. It think the front end looks to good to put it on.

I have the Vent Shades and hood protector color matched to my DXL. I think they look good on the vehicle.
