custom intake

im planning on taking out the air box and replacing it with a intake air filter any suggestions or what not and if anyone has done this any responses on perforance and what not if so is it really worth all the trouble and do i really have to take off the entire left front fender in order to get it out? thanks

uhhh....you only have to remove the inner fender liner if you are going to install CAI... you have to remove the battery though...what engine are you running?

I fabbed a true Cold Air Intake out of exhaust pipe and a APC air filter.

Cheap, easy, and effective.

i have the 2.2 i think i might have to take off the whole fender and if it comes to that im sawin that stock s### in half and rippin it out i aint takin the whole fender off screw that

You dont need to take the fender off. Pull the driver side headlight out, take the battery out and pull the bumper out a bit. You should be able to pull the bong out no problem, then fit whatever pipe you want to in the hole.

Had mine in in about an hour, and most of that time was welding.
