Huge Race!!!

Well this happened a few weeks ago, just crusing around with my buddy in his '95 Red Turbo Acura Integra. I just put in a upgraded blow-off valve configuration so its insane (sooo loud), so it catchs lots of peoples attention.

Espically two riced up cars. It looked to be about a '95 Civic Hatchback with decals all over it and a huge fart can, and a '99 Turbo Grand Prix with Neuspeed Decals all over it.

They were revving up thier engines and turning to me and laughing (I have no idea why) and haulted to a red light asking for a 3 car race. (I guess they never heard my car). Im running a '04 Turbo 2 upgraded Dodge Srt-4 with heavy engine modifications and running about a 12 flat. They continued to laugh until i revved up my engine along with them and my blow- off valve drowed out thier exust. They werent laughing any more.

The light turned red and even though i span my tires through the whole intersection i caught and passed them in 3rd at about 80 mps (short shifting a little bit). They weren't laughing anymore even tho they put up a good fight until 4th gear. In the end i beat them both by about 8 cars.

I had the last laugh for sure...

Well my engine is a BluePrint Mopar Engine with Air Intake. Its got Mopar and Neuspeed Intake, Cams, Headers and the Mopar Blow-off Configuration I was talking about. Prob the loudest blow off valve I've ever heard. I also put in the Stage 2 Mopar SRT-4 Turbo. (I had to throw in a turbo timer in there too)

Also has:
- New intercooler
- Huge thump system
- All new engine parts
- 17" Rims
- Strut Bar
- Suspension
etc...

Its got everything and its plenty fast to beat most cars. It definitly surprises vipers and vettes too

Re: Huge Race!!!

You got any pictures of the engine and of your car? I would love to see it. Sounds like a sweet car. How much did all of that run you to up your performance. Also, how much HP do you think you are putting out? Anyway, good kills on the GP and Civic. Late...

Maybe I do want you in the picture.

I think many missed my irony.

Re: Huge Race!!!

Lets see some proof, sounds like another BSing noob. With claims like that and saying you have headers and not manafolds in a turbo car, you need proof to prevent people from trying to poke holes in all your posts from now on, and please don't say you don't have a digital cam or that you have trouble uploadig pics like so many others have. You may be telling the truth but you'll need to prive it now, thats just the way things are with so many BSers in this particular forum .

Seriously you are not even trying. If you want to try BS you have to do better than that. This is just shameful.

Re: Huge Race!!!

unfortunatly im gonna have to agree with getting proof.
I just finished getting my a** chewd on for not having proof. and let me tell you it's not a pleasant experience.
So for your own good get anything you can.
not that im doubting you or anything, it's just gonna keep people off your back.
as far as calling your manifold a header, lots of people get them confused. so dont worry too much about it.
and welcome to the forum by the way.

Re: Huge Race!!!

LOL, yall crack me up.

Well here is my huge race for the night. I pulled up next to a vette, and reved up to him and he just kept looking straight ahead. The light turned green, and i had this huge huge lead, im talking a good 5 bus lengths in on him. So with this huge grin on my face, i look back and that guy was still parked in the same spot, hadnt even started up the car yet.

Then i pulled up next to a pontiac fiero GT, reved up to him and the driver looked over to me with that scared look in his eyes. So i gave him the same look, and the old man could barely see over the steering wheel. But i beat his ass.

Mods are a stock 302 engine. A 5000 lb Bronco, with 32 inch tires, and 3:55 gears. Oh and true dual exhaust, with dual glass packs. :toothless:

there is no proof on this one. This is about as clear as BS goes

he doesn't even know what he is talking about. There is no such thing as a "Stage 2 Mopar SRT-4 Turbo". stage 2 comes with pcm (what mopar calls their ecu) injectors, new wastegate actuator and the optional toys. So there is no turbo in the kit only stage 3 brings a turbo to the table.

Also: "all new engine parts" right.......the srt4 has a ridiculously strong engine;eg: the 600hp used at bonevile still used stock internals. A stage 2 has absolutelly no use for new internals.

And lets say he got a new manifold and he called it wrong by mistake. Well a new manifold would require a new turbo (since the stock one is built into the manifold) in wich case the mopar stage 2 would become unusable.

Should i continue?

Re: Huge Race!!!

ill try to continue...
He also said "headers", if he was smart, he shoulda said an exhaust manifold, plus he also says "All new Engine parts".....hahahhaha...im guessin this is total bs. That SRT-4 is also forgetting its many lots of fuel upgrades and what totally looks BS is that there are NO pictures at all, none. Gotta see it to believe it.

Re: Huge Race!!!

excellent points. I personally had no prior knowledge of the srt-4's turbo set up. but for the most part I was just being polite. I mean c'mon 8 car lengths. I have never even seen a street race with that much distance unless something broke. so an srt-4 gaining that much distance on any turbo car is highly unlikley.
plus any one who would change the internals and turbo. would know things like there compression ratio, and how much psi they were running at the time.

but damn neutrino 600hp on stock internals I had no idea they were built that strong they must have forged most of the internals for that.
