back to basics

restoring a 86 gt.
is there any info on alt. bracket location and heat sheild location that would end the alt. contact between the c.v. shaft?
motor was installed previosly before I got it

So what you're saying is the CV shaft is rubbing on the alternator case?

yea,
the real problem was the heat sheilds for the exhaust manifolds was'nt installed correct "left for right" and the alt. bracket can be bolted in 2 locations,if installed wrong you would ASSume that's the way it should go along with some of the charging problems.
Now I have no heat sheilds.
this should take care of my elect. problems for now.
