1960-1963 Catalina

I am new and have a question which might seem stupid. I love the grill on the 1960 catalina but I really dig those stacked headlights of the 63's. Is there a year or model where the 2 are combined? Thanks for any help.

Re: 1960-1963 Catalina

Nope. Actually, the '60 is the "odd man out" if you will. That is, all the Pontiacs from '59-on, have the "split grill" feature, that has become a division trademark. The '60 is the only one without it. There are many in the automotive styling "industry" that use the '63 and '64 Pontiacs as examples of classic and uncompromised beauty. And they ARE head-turners...
I do like the '60. Make no mistake about that! When I was in high school, a neighbor had a '60 Ventura we would all ride to shcool together in. I had a '59 Catalina, and another boy had a '65 GTO. We had our own little Pontiac club, right there at Oak Grove (San Jose, CA). Chevy boys hated us, even back then! Life can be so satisfying...
