1996 Suburban: No Warning Lights, No Start

I have a 1996 Suburban. Yesterday, when I turned the key to start it, the warning lights failed to come on, the daytime running lights didn't come on and the engine cranked but never turned over. I moved the wires coming into the relay and fuse box, under the hood, and the lights came on the engine started fine.
Could this be a relay problem, fuse, or could it be the wiring itself?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have this same exact problem. I put a code reader on it and received a link failure message. I have power in the fuse box. I replaced the computor and ignition module and had no change. Does anyone have an idea of where to look next?

If you moved some wires and that fixed the problem, then the problem is a bad connection or bad wire). Try moving just one at a time to isolate which wire/circuit is giving you the problem.

Check for Power and Ground at the OBD II Connector. See http://www.obdii.com/connector.html
