I use Quaker State 10-30. Nothing synthetic. Nothing special. I switch to 5-30 in the winter. I usually just buy it from Menards when it goes on sale.

Re: Engine Oil

Syntec is good. I prefer Mobil 1 5w-30. Either way, you're better off running synthetic unless you start using for the first time it in a high mileage vehicle (over 75k).

dont tell me you're fixing the paint again... you will have spent enough money to buy 2 vettes when your're done at the rate you're going.

Re: Engine Oil

No, this is "what the hell happened this time" fix. Pulley went. So I figured while they have it, get some other stuff done.
Paint shop gets it back when the spoiler comes in. When you own a black car, everything shows on it. Even the mistakes they make.

Did your pulley give you any sign it was going out? Which pulley was it?
