Have you had the injectors cleaned/replaced? I would try an fuel injector additive that you just pour into your tank. Its a few bucks and is an easier route to start with then just going out and buying new injectors for about $70 a pop. Try that and I hope that works...if not, you know what happens next...

wont start

try pulling the fuel pump relay from the fuse block under the hood on the drivers side and bend the pins back about a 1/8th of a inch and reinstall it(making sure the pins still align with there respective holes) and push it down flat again. This makes the pins touch inside the fuse block and it sends 12 volts to the fuel pump and it runs until it builds 55 to 65 p.s.i.. You should hear the pump run when you turn the key to run. Good luck...john

Re: 1997 silverdo wont start

I'm not sure exactly what it's called but it's a module that's on or near the distributer. Same thing happened to mine, costed 100$ parts and labor
