brakes (again!)

Some months back I had a brakes issue with my 1992 Grand Voyager - the brake pedal would not move.
The dealership replaced the ABS bits as per the recall and all was well.
Now, 2,000KM later, the brake pedal went almost to the floor before the brakes took effect.
I topped up the resevoir with DOT4 (couldn't get DOT3) and whenever I switch the ignition on the ABS and brake light come on.
I filled the fluid up in the dark and mayu have put too much in - would this cause the warning lights?
Also, when I drive it & use the brakes, I can hear what sounds like a relay quickly turning off and on.
Has anyone experienced this before and have you any suggestions?

Many thanks,

Mike

Re: brakes (again!)

Have you replaced the master cylinder? There has to be a reason for the master cylinder going dry. Fluid is either leaking somewhere in the brake system or it is bypassing internally in the master cylinder and is going into the brake booster. At the very least you should bleed the brake system.

Mark, Did you find a solution to the ABS Pump relay cycling? My 1993 T&C is suffering the ABS relay turning on and off. I notice that it stays on for a while when I first start the car then begins cycling every 2-3 sec. I have not notice any fluid loss.
