Fender Clearence

no....not a sale on fenders.LOL

Anyone here have a 65?....I want to put 15x8's on the rear but the wells appear to be too narrow. I have seen one or two at shows but could not find owners to inquire.
Thanks

Re: Fender Clearence

if you want ot know if they will clear, you might want to supply more info, sutch as... backspacing/offset. that makes a big difference. but also what tires you decide to run will determine if they will fit or not. you can look on a couple wheel manufacurer web sights and you might be able to find some info, or go to amarican racing wheels web sight and look up the wheels for your car and check out what sizes will fit and look at the backspacing and compair to the wheels you want.

Re: Re: Fender Clearence

Yep ....thanks for the response. I've seen a few others running 15's and I'm aware there is a backspacing issue. I'll go back to the spec book I suppose.
