Let me tell you something monkey. With that car. you cant get the head lights off without taking off the bumper and you cant take off the bumper without taking off the headlights. Really your screwd. Nah there is a screw thats facing upward toward the head light and its almost impossible to reach it can be done get a really tiny wrench . It will take you a good 10-20 min per screw. Actually if i remember right when i did mine i think i just cut my bumper off cause i got pissed off since i was doing the body kit for sure.

Re: Installing my body kit....
there should be about ten bolts that the 97 front will require. then there is a bolt behind the headlight in the engine bay , on top of the head light and one below it that can only be reached after you get the bumper off. you shouldn't have to remove the front support (big black piece of plastic inder the front bumper). the 97 front will cover it.
the fenders are going to have to bolts under the car towars the back of the wheel well and then 8 bolts, 4 on either side of the engine bay, and shares 2 bolts with the fronr bumper. and when you open your door there should be on behind the fender. i'm not sure about the rear bumper or the side skirts.

Re: Installing my body kit....
i would recomend doing the z3 fenders first and get them lined up right with the doors hood and stock bumper. then put on the new front. that way you dont have to line up everything at once.

Re: Installing my body kit....
and fenders are a bitch to line up. i suggest that you have someone help you ... its alot easier with 2 ppl tryin to line 'em up than just yourself.

Re: Installing my body kit....
you can basically un-bolt the whole car with a 10mm and 12mm wrenchs (and maybe a 14mm if you want to get technical) ....fyi: there is glue holding the fenders to the engin compartment i think a heat gun can melt the glue pull it off...there are there are bolts holding the fener to the engin compartment, one holding it on the inside of the engin compartment (take off the air box to acess it) ,one or two in the door jam, and two at the begining of the side skirts(near front tire) take out all the bolts in the wheel well and your set (dont forget to melt the glue)...

Re: Installing my body kit....
another point....the z3 fenders are a bitch to put on. i bought some and they didn't match up at all. i tried to fit them on and they stuck out at teh bottom so i softly pushed the bottom on and you could tell they were gonna break if i put them on and even bumped into my fender. i would have a professional that can work with fiberglass put them on otherwise you have a big chance of fuckin things up. just fyi

![]() Im dont have a kit myself, but IMO dont do it unless you know what your doing. I dont think you want to be experimenting with something like that, but if you have the confidence then go for it. Either way I wish you the best of luck!

Re: Installing my body kit....
i can almost gurantee you it wont' be that easy. if the bodykit isn't 100% perfectly manufactured which im' sure it's not, you'll have complications. there are gonna be edges that don't line up and pieces that don't line up right or aren't shaped right or something.
