tires (post also in 3 series)

Got a friend looking for new tires. Any recommendations?

Car: 97' M3 4dr

Looking at:

GoodYears (Eagle F1 GS D2):

225/45-17 $200

245/40-17 (don’t have 225/40-17 in stock, can order) $200

BridgeStone (Potenza RE 730 street racing grade)

$179 (same for front and rear)

Michicllan (forgot to ask him the model)

$280 (same for front and rear)

Any thoughts? Suggestions?

Sorry I also posted this in the 3 series section, but since it's for a M3 it really belongs here.

I just got a set of Toyo Proxes FZ4 for that same car, they're great! I live in upstate NY, and they're actually not too bad in the snow.
