Y-Pipe to Headers?
Well, My Y-Pipe and Tailpipe are rusting out, bent to their last limbs, and totally thrashed. I'm in the market for some not too expensive replacements, and I've found some Edelbrock Painted Black Headers for my truck (87 S-10 Ext. Cab, V6 2.8L 4WD). These headers will cost me about 250. I was wondering if:
1. Will headers on a V6 like this sound good? 2. Is it worth the 250 to put headers in an older vehicle like this? Thank you very much, and any referrals would be nice. |

Re: Y-Pipe to Headers?
it shouldnt sound bad, but it wont be an 8cyl, as to if its worth it, thats up to you, if you like the vehical and want to keep it then yes go for it, if your kinda ready for a new one or will be sometime soon, then no its not

Re: Y-Pipe to Headers?
1.) Yes, but a very very minor difference.
2.) 250 for headers, nah, not worth it. Stock headers fr 20 bucks flow very good on a standard normal engine.
