Dimming

I have an mx3 4 bangin auto... and it is slow... but that is beside the point. When i press the breaks, the lights dim, and the cd player turns off... when i turn the lights on, the cd player shuts off... yep... i dont know what it is... anyone care to help?

yep your right... and im selling it to get a ls teg... that im going to turbo...so i just need to fix this so i can sell it.... the kid im selling it to has a big system and i dont want him complaining it shuts on and off allthe time.

Check your power suply, something might be messed up around the batteri. When you press the break the lights dim because it takes power to turn on the break light, and same when you turn on you lights. The same thing happens in my corolla, but only for a second

I bet your alternator is on the verge of dying possibly... besides MX3 Alternators are notorious for being cr@p.
