honda door lock noise/paint issues

I have a 1997 Honda accord special edition(light gold in color) and have 2 problems and am asking for help/feedback...

1) Power door locks work but a horrific LOUD "BUZZING" noise comes from the rear passenger side door(sounds like it is closer to the external door handle rather than the small plastic lock piece....IT IS VERY LOUD AND IRRITATING AND ONLY MAKES NOISE WHEN THE DOORS ARE BEING LOCKED!!!

2) The paint on the top of the car and trunk is fading!!!! I noticed it first about 3 years ago but didnt really do anything about it now it is quite noticeable...I see older accords that have perfectly intact paint...Is there some factory defect with this paint combination that I am not aware of???The car is never exposed to harsh elements(salt water) and has been garaged almost half the time.....
Please reply if you know of anyone else that this has happened to and what can be done about it....if I need to repaint it what would you suggest I do and how much would it cost roughly???

THANK YOU FRO YOUR CONCERN AND FEEDBACK....INFORMATION FROM THESE FORUMS SEEMS ten times better than info from repair shops or dealers(no financial incentive for forum replies!!!)
